Terms of Service
Effective October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Kaytos, LLC (“Kaytos”, “we”, “us”) for your use of Taste Training, the Taste Training Mac app and taste.training (together, the “Service”). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
1. Early access, by invitation
Taste Training is in early access and available by invitation only. An invitation is personal to you. We may add, change or remove features, limits and access during early access. Some features described on this site, including hosted AI processing and paid plans, are not available yet.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms. Keep your email account and approved Macs secure. Do not forward sign-in links, and do not approve a device code you did not request. Tell us promptly if you think your account or a Mac has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your content
You keep all rights in the clips, notes and other content you add (“Your Content”). You give Kaytos a limited permission to store, copy, transmit and process Your Content only as needed to provide the features you choose, keep the Service secure and comply with the law. We will not publish Your Content, share it with other users, or use it to train a general-purpose AI model.
Screenshots can show work that belongs to others. You are responsible for having the right to capture and use what you save. Readings, descriptions and prompts the Service creates do not give you rights in the original designs. Use references to learn and adapt, not to copy or claim someone else’s work.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights; upload malware, credentials or information you are not allowed to share; access another person’s account or data; or test, bypass or overload the Service’s security or limits. We may suspend or limit access to protect the Service or other people. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why.
5. AI output
Readings, labels, palettes, search results and generated skills are produced by AI models and can be wrong or incomplete. Check them before you rely on them. They are not a statement that a design is accurate, accessible, original or cleared for use.
6. Third-party services
When you use your own API key, your use of that model provider is governed by your agreement with it, and it charges you directly. The Service relies on Cloudflare and other providers to operate. Open-source parts of Taste Training, if published, are covered by their own licenses.
7. Fees
Early access is free. If we offer paid plans later, we will show the price, what is included, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before you choose a plan. Using the Service now does not authorize any future charge.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time, turn sync off and keep your local library files. To delete your account and synced content, email us. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, if your invitation ends, or if we stop offering the Service; when we can, we will give notice so you can keep your files. Your local library always stays on your Mac.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” during early access. To the extent the law allows, Kaytos disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of data loss. Keep your own backups.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Kaytos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify account holders before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you live somewhere whose consumer-protection laws give you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights still apply.
